” Hi everyone. This is David. I just met with the surgeon. He said everything went very well and as planned. Notably, he shared that it (her aorta) was a big one and compared it to the size of a lemon. The new valve is also doing well. He was very pleased with how everything went.
Sharon will be in the ICU for a couple of days. I will see her soon but briefly. I have her phone, which she will want but may not get. (Doctor’s orders, at least that is my story, and I’m sticking to it) Hopefully, she will turn her full attention to rest and healing. She is amazing, capable, confident, and calm. Your prayers and best wishes have lifted her up, and for now, all is well. Thank you all. More to come.”
